A-101
Occupants / capacity: 2 / 2 · Free beds: 0
- Somchai Prasert Male · Morning · 1
- Nguyen Minh Male · Night · 2
Give every person a room and bed that a supervisor can understand at a glance. Start with the worked rows, edit the room table, or let the private assignment pass group people by sex and then shift.
Enter each room’s capacity and type, then add the people who need a bed. Names, IDs and language notes stay in the browser while you work.
The roster checks every room for mixed sex, over-capacity occupancy and a night shift sharing with a day shift. It also calls out anyone not assigned to a known room.
Use automatic assignment as a starting point, review the result with the dormitory supervisor and print the roster once the room and bed numbers are agreed.

A few practical questions before a roster becomes the notice on the dormitory wall.
It groups people by sex first and by shift second, then fills compatible rooms without exceeding their stated capacity. Review the result because a real site may have language, friendship, medical or supervisor constraints that the simple pass cannot know.
The warning describes who is sharing the room, not whether the room type permits it. It gives a manager a deliberate prompt to confirm that the arrangement is acceptable and documented.
The warning identifies a likely sleep conflict. It does not decide that the arrangement is impossible, but it makes a supervisor check the room allocation before publishing it.
A person is unassigned when the room field is blank or does not match one of the room names in the room table. A bed number alone is not enough to make the assignment valid.
No. The roster runs in this browser only, makes no network request and writes nothing to storage. Print or clear the page according to your own HR-data practice.
