Questions to check

Use these checks when an accommodation deduction is about to reach payroll.

What does the warning compare?

It compares the total electricity, water, accommodation and other deductions with net pay for the selected period. The percentage is shown beside the editable reference cap.

Why does the advice show meter readings?

The opening and closing readings make the utility calculation traceable. A supervisor and employee can see the units used before they sign the advice.

What should happen when the cap is exceeded?

Pause the deduction, confirm the employee's written consent and check the current local requirement and customer audit standard. The warning is a review prompt, not a legal conclusion.

Can the accommodation charge be flat?

Yes. Enter the flat charge for this pay period. Electricity and water remain tied to their meter readings and rates so the line items stay easy to explain.

Does this send payroll data anywhere?

No. The advice is calculated in this browser only, with no account, network request or storage. Print it when the figures are ready.
