Can I treat the figures as settled requirements?
No. They are editable reference figures for a first pass. Check current local regulation and the customer's social-audit standard before relying on the result.
How is maximum occupancy calculated?
The room area is divided by the editable floor-area reference figure and rounded down to a whole person. Fixture and ventilation results can still make the overall check fail.
What does a fixture shortfall mean?
It is the number of additional toilets, showers or washbasins needed to meet the editable reference ratio for the people on the floor. It is a planning prompt, not a legal conclusion.
Can I enter area directly?
Yes. A direct area overrides width multiplied by length when it is greater than zero. Leave it at zero to use the two measured dimensions.
Why is ceiling height shown separately?
Ceiling height is useful context for an audit response, but this tool does not attach a threshold to it. Confirm any applicable local or customer figure separately.
Does this store room measurements?
No. The check runs in this browser only, makes no network request and writes nothing to storage.
